Our Story

I have always had a love for tie dye. I found I have always been drawn to tie dye. The bold and bright colors and interesting patterns of tie dyed pieces always caught my eye and were a real mood booster for me.

One day I decided to share my passion for tie dye and started tie dyeing myself. I found the whole process of tying items, folding, color choices and dyeing the fabrics, relaxing and stress relieving. I also discovered that I truly loved the new creative outlet I had found!

As far as the name Flying Dog Tie Dye, well my fur baby is a Samoyed, named Niko. He’s a big white floofer and when he lays on the floor, it often looks like he is in a “flying” position.

Tie dyeing makes me happy and I hope my pieces make you happy too!
